Introducing the Mobile Lab
The Mobile Learning Lab is a computer classroom on wheels. It is a fully-equipped, 34-foot motor home out-fitted with eleven student computer stations and a teacher’s station. The Mobile Lab provides computer training to all of Central Missouri. Various classes can be offered including Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows, and others.
Why Use the Mobile Lab?
If you are an employer, the Mobile Lab may be the perfect solution to your computer training needs. It can bring computer training for your employees right to your front door! Classes in word processing and spreadsheets can be provided, so that your employees don’t even need to leave your workplace. Computer training can be tailored to your specific needs.
Dislocated Worker Assistance
Additionally, in the event of a plant closure or other mass reduction, the Mobile Lab can come out to your place of business in order to help your dislocated workers with résumé and cover letter development, skills re-training, workplace readiness training, and other services. These are provided at no cost in order to help dislocated workers re-enter the workforce with as little trouble as possible.
